Yes, Yes, and Yes!  We’re happy to recommend options, but ultimately, you’re in control. Whether you have a specific vision or need a little guidance, we’ll work with you to create a piece that’s uniquely yours!

Most of the fabric I use for bikinis, costumes, exotic dancewear, and stage attire would typically be stretch fabric to allow for comfort, flexibility, and a great fit. Common types include:

• Spandex/Lycra – Perfect for swimwear and form-fitting costumes.

• Four-Way Stretch Fabric – Moves in all directions for maximum flexibility.

• Mesh & Power Mesh – Adds breathability and a sleek look.

• Stretch Velvet – Great for luxurious, eye-catching pieces.

• Leather – Durable and stylish, often used for bold, structured looks but lacks stretch.

• Pleather – A flexible, stretch-friendly alternative to leather, offering a sleek look with added comfort.

• Vinyl – High-shine and eye-catching, perfect for creating dramatic, statement-making pieces.

We offer an extensive palette, from classic primary colours like red, blue, and yellow to more customised hues and special finishes such as metallics, glitter, and unique blends. We work with you to achieve the perfect shade for your design.

For garments designed for people, we typically require measurements for neck circumference, shoulder width, bust/chest, waist, hips, sleeve length, arm circumference, back length, and inseam or leg length. 

For pet costumes, we ask for measurements such as neck circumference, chest circumference, and back length, plus any additional dimensions if needed.

We recommend using a flexible tape measure and following our measurement guidelines closely. For the best fit, measure each area snugly but comfortably. Detailed instructions are provided on our Custom Order form to help ensure accuracy.

Since every design is custom-made, production times vary. Typically, once your design is finalised and full payment is received, your piece is completed within 2-4 weeks. 

However, please note that seasonal increases in orders may delay the start of your order. In such cases, your designer will inform you if there is a delay and provide an estimated timeline for when we can begin work on your piece. 

We serve customers on a first-come, first-served basis, but we also offer a rush service for those who need their order within a specific timeframe. Please be aware that rush orders incur an extra cost, as they often require overtime work to complete on schedule.

Costs depend on your customisations and design complexity. Many items are priced within a range, while a small selection of ready-made pieces have fixed prices. 

• Bikinis typically range in price between $100 and $500

• Costumes for People range in price between $200 and $2500

• Costumes for Pets range in price between $50 and $350

• Exotic Dancewear range in price between $80 and $500

• Stage & Show Attire range in price between $600 and $2500

A standard custom order is a unique, handcrafted piece made just for you, but similar styles or designs may be created for other clients.

An exclusive one of a kind design (available for orders over $500) is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece—once it’s made for you, it will never be recreated for anyone else. It’s truly 100% yours, ensuring a completely original look that no one else will ever have!

We proudly ship across Canada using Canada Post. Local pickup is also available in Edmonton, Alberta if that suits your preference.

Each custom order requires a 50% deposit (which includes taxes and shipping) to begin work. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, prior to shipping or pickup.

Absolutely! Pickle Boss bikinis are safe to wear in both the pool and ocean. To keep them looking their best, rinse them with fresh water after use to help prevent colour fading.
